Henrico Education Foundation announces new chief executive officer
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico Education Foundation (HEF) Board of Directors recently announced its new chief executive officer (CEO).
According to a Wednesday release, Jennifer Boyle was appointed CEO of the foundation after a national search, and is expected to bring "a deep commitment to public education, a clear vision for expanding student opportunity and a strong alignment with the foundation's mission to strengthen schools and improve outcomes."
Prior to this role, Boyle served as president and CEO of Junior Achievement in Central Virginia, where she helped prepare students through financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship, the release said. She has also held executive positions at MENTOR Virginia and the Children's Museum of Richmond.

Boyle will officially assume the CEO role on Sept. 15, with an initial focus on engaging with staff members, educators and community stakeholders to help mold the foundation's direction, according to the release.
