Henrico hosting pet rabies vaccine clinic at Western Government Complex
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Residents of the western part of the Richmond area who need to get their pets vaccinated for rabies can do so at an upcoming event hosted by the Henrico County Division of Police. The department's Animal Protection Unit is hosting a pet rabies vaccination clinic from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Government Complex, located at 4301 East Parham Road. The event is not limited to residents of Henrico County but vaccines cost $20 each and only cash will be accepted. Pet owners can register and pay at the cashier's office in the administration building. Henrico County dog licenses will also be available. They cost $10 each and are valid for the dog's entire life as long as their rabies vaccination is kept current and their owner resides in Henrico County.
