Henrico Police and Fire, community partners to face off in dodgeball game for charity
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police, Henrico Fire and other community partners will face off in a friendly showdown for charity at the upcoming 2nd-annual Henrico Police Dodgeball Tournament.
On Monday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m., the Henrico County Police Division's Henrico Police Dodgeball Tournament will make a comeback. It will take place at the Henrico Sports & Events Center, located at 1 All Star Boulevard.
According to police, there will be food and beverages available for purchase. In addition, officers will be raffling off prizes, which could include Richmond Flying Squirrel tickets and apparel.
This marks the second year that Henrico Police has partnered with the non-profit organization CancerLINC, whose mission is to offer free legal, financial and community resources to direct patients through the non-medical challenges of being diagnosed with cancer.
