Henrico Police are investigating an assault on Thalen Street that left one victim with life-threatening injuries

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Today at approximately 2:35 p.m., Henrico County Police responded to reports of an assault the on 2900 block of Thalen Street that left one victim with life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on Sunday, April 13, and is in connection with a recent pursuit that occurred after the reported incident. The victim was then later transported to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.

Detectives are still on the scene investigating, and according to police there is no current threat to the public.
