Henrico roadway closing for several weeks for traffic project
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Several weeks of closures are coming to a Henrico County roadway starting Monday.
Beginning on Monday, March 17, Old Sadler Road between Sadler Road and the CarMax parking lot will be closed for about eight weeks, according to the county.
A detour will be in place. Drivers can use Sadler Road, Dominion Boulevard and West Broad Street to get around the closure.

Additionally, there will be a one-day closure of Sadler Road between the Old Sadler Road/Innslake Drive intersection and Scotland Lane on Saturday, March 22.
According to the county, this closure will take place during "daytime hours" and will allow for utility work to be completed.
Week of nightly detours in Henrico as bridge over I-95 South repaired
The detour for this second closure will use Dominion Boulevard, Innslake Drive, Cox Road, Sadler Place and Sadler Road, according to the county.

"These closures are part of a project to realign and widen Sadler and add a shared-use path for pedestrians and bicyclists," the county said of these closures.
