Henrico roadway shut down through end of 2026

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Henrico County roadway has been shut down for the remainder of 2026.
As of Thursday, April 9, Old Washington Highway between Mill and Mountain roads is closed to allow for sewer and water mains to be installed, according to a press release from the county.
This closure will remain in place until the project is completed, which is expected to be at the end of 2026.
Drivers can use a detour along Mountain, Mill, Woodman and Greenwood roads to avoid the closure.
