The program took place on Tuesday, June 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., with the school receiving fitness equipment and educational resources. The Day of Play aims to encourage students to partake in more physical activity on a daily basis through immersive experiences.
CLC also received an NFL PLAY 60 Day of Play interactive kit with footballs, frisbees, jump ropes, kickballs and a Day of Play School activation guide -- which has heart-health video modules and exercise video content.
Schools that weren't chosen for the Day of Play still have an opportunity to partake in the experience through a free Day of Play activation guide, which brings the program to them with various fun physical activities..
