Hopewell juvenile arrested in carjacking incident

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- A Hopewell juvenile was arrested in connection with a carjacking last Tuesday on Richmond Street.
At 9:04 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, the Hopewell Police Department responded to a report of a carjacking at the 2200 block of Richmond Street.
According to police, with the help of public safety technology, officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle.
After a brief pursuit, a juvenile was arrested and charged with grand larceny, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, juvenile in possession of a firearm and robbery.
