Hopewell schools to dismiss students early as part of 3-Hour Early Release Day

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- On Friday, March 21, all of Hopewell City Public Schools will undergo early dismissals as part of a 3-Hour Early Release Day.

According to Hopewell City Public Schools, today will be an early dismissal day for students.

The schedule for early release will be as follows:

• New Hope Academy -- 11 a.m.
• Carter G. Woodson Middle School -- 11:25 a.m.
• Hopewell High School -- 12:05 p.m.
• Dupont Elementary -- 12:05 p.m.
• Harry E. James Elementary -- 12:45 p.m.
• Patrick Copeland Elementary -- 12:45 p.m.
• Woodlawn Learning Center -- 1 p.m.
