Hopewell ticket wins $1 million in Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle, other winners announced

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Check your ticket! A ticket sold in Hopewell is among five lucky $1 million winners in the state's New Year's Millionaire Raffle.

Virginia Lottery officials announced on Thursday, Jan. 1, the winning numbers for the 2026 New Year’s Millionaire Raffle.

The winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:

• Ticket #038045: Giant Food, 6011 Burke Center Parkway, Burke
• Ticket #155852: 7-Eleven, 11022 Marsh Road, Bealeton
• Ticket #300593: Food Lion, 46 Madison Plaza Drive, Madison
• Ticket #556789: 7-Eleven, 2108 Mt. Vernon Ave., Alexandria
• Ticket #606487: Food Lion, 5209 Plaza Drive, Hopewell

Seven additional tickets, each winning $100,000, were also announced. They were purchased at the following locations:

• Ticket #102733: Stop In Food Store, 11268 West Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike, Montvale
• Ticket #236534: Handy Mart, 2152 South Loudoun St., Winchester
• Ticket #274621: Kroger, 901 North Lombardy St., Richmond
• Ticket #280437: Publix, 1640 Publix Way, Stafford
• Ticket #282922: Giant Food, 10100 Dumfries Road, Manassas
• Ticket #376648: Wawa, 301 East Mercury Blvd., Hampton
• Ticket #538518: 7-Eleven, 110 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg

Another 1,000 tickets in Virginia also won $500 each.
