Juvenile injured after early morning shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A juvenile was injured after an early morning shooting in Richmond on Sunday.

At around 12:48 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Brook Road for a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, police found a juvenile with a gunshot wound in his left foot. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
