Learn about volunteering while abroad at Ashland Branch Library
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking to make a difference and travel the world? You can learn more about doing so at the Ashland Branch Library on Tuesday evening.
From 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, attendees at the Ashland Branch Library will learn about volunteering while traveling from seasoned traveler and adventurer Carol Sutton-Abaire.
Organizers said Sutton-Abaire will show attendees how to find volunteering opportunities and how to choose a volunteer organization that best fits your interests.
Whether you're interested in wildlife, conservation research or providing humanitarian services, organizers said there are a variety of opportunities available.
The Ashland Branch Library is located at 201 S. Railroad Ave. in the town of Ashland in Hanover County.
