RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- RVA Pieces, a Richmond-area chess club, will be offering a free chess class at the Richmond Public Library on Saturday. From 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, this free chess class will be held in the library's annex. For the first hour, students will get to learn all about famous chess games, useful opening moves and endgames, helpful tactics and more during a lecture from one of RVA Pieces' coaches. Richmond and Henrico Health officials announce next round of Health Equity Funds The second hour of the class will be free casual play.
