Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to hold environmental Winter Symposium

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Are you interested in learning about the relationships between different environmental aspects of life? Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will be hosting a three-day Winter Symposium on Wednesday, Feb. 12, Thursday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 14 for those interested in learning about topics like natural ecosystems, organism relationships and climate resiliency. The event's theme is "Homes and Habitats" and is presented by Lewis Ginter, Central Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association (CVNLA) and Virginia Cooperative Extension. The first two days contain full 8 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. schedules consisting of speaking engagements with experts from all over the country discussing various environmental themes. Tickets for the third day, dedicated to pesticide recertification, are purchased separately as the event must be attended in person.
