Library of Virginia launches redesigned website

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Library of Virginia has launched its redesigned website, which a spokesperson said is the site's first major overhaul in more than a decade.

The Library of Virginia said more than 1.5 million people access its website each year, seeking information on events, programs, services and resources, which include 120 digital collections containing more than 35 million files that document Virginia's history, government and people.

The redesigned website, announced on Monday, June 30, will reportedly improve management of content on the site. Updates include user-centered navigation, an "enhanced" search function and more.
