Missing Chesterfield man found safe, police say

UPDATE: Evans was found safe late Monday night, per police.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A missing 56-year-old Chesterfield County man who police said could be in danger has been found safe.

The evening of Monday, March 23, the Chesterfield County Police Department issued a missing endangered person alert for 56-year-old Adam Evans. Virginia State Police followed up with a critically missing adult alert later Monday night.

Evans had last been seen at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday in the 2500 block of Luckylee Crescent in Chesterfield.

His disappearance was believed to pose a credible threat to his health, per police.

Late Monday night, the Chesterfield County Police Department provided an update, saying that Evans had been found safe.
