GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Fall has arrived, and Goochland County has released its schedule of autumnal and holiday events to celebrate the seasons. ????Rassawek's Autumn Festival???? The festival will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 9 on the Rassawek property in the western part of the county, located at 6276 River Road West. The event is family-friendly and features a petting zoo, a professional rodeo, antique machinery and skilled artisans. Attendees can grab tickets online or at the gate. ????Trunk or Treat, Halloween movie at Goochland Drive-In Theater???? Also happening on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 9, visitors will be able to enjoy Trunk or Treating and watch a Halloween movie. Each vehicle is encouraged to bring enough candy for 700 trick or treaters, according to organizers. Tickets are available on the drive-in theater's website. ????Fall Festival???? The annual Goochland County Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Attendees can expect to enjoy a costume contest, a petting zoo, live music, pony rides and more. The craft beverage showcase will be held for its second year from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Dover Hall. Ticket sales will also support Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation, a local nonprofit. A ticket is required to attend, and tickets are limited.
