From enjoying the skyline view to the Christmas Parade, featuring many floats and holiday characters, there's a variety of events for all to enjoy. Venture Richmond has released an exciting line up of holiday events happening in November and December in Downtown Richmond. Check out the December lineup below: A Shockoe Sessions Live! Christmas at the Hippodrome Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. Located at The Hippodrome Theatre, 528 N. 2nd Street Join Shockoe Records for a Christmas party like no other. In support of Richmond Animal League, this concert will bring some of your favorite holiday hits from a variety of musical genres. Tickets begin at $25. A Christmas Carol Afternoon Tea Experience with the Queen's Library Tea Room Tuesday, Dec. 3 through Monday, Dec. 23 -- various dates and times Located at The Queen's Library Tea Room, 221 E. Clay Street Enjoy a unique tea experience in a historic setting from 100 years ago, featuring treats and British holiday tea. The celebration will also include a reading of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Tickets start at $75 and can be purchased here. RVA Illuminates Friday, Dec. 6 -- from 4 to 7 p.m. Located at Kanawha Plaza, 701 E. Canal Street Celebrate the countdown of the tree lighting and Downtown skyline illumination with 8News -- featuring live musical performances, food trucks with holiday treats and more. Dominion Energy Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. Begins at the Science Museum of Virginia, traveling along East Broad Street, ending at 7th Street. Enjoy one of Richmond's annual holiday traditions, The Dominion Energy Christmas Parade. You don't want to miss this year's festivities -- displaying an array of creative balloons and floats, marching bands and your favorite holiday characters. This is a free event for the whole family. Holidaze Market at Gallery5 Saturday, Dec. 7 -- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at Gallery5, 200 W. Marshall Street Come out for an afternoon of shopping with RVA Krampus.
