Live! Casino to hold job fair, continue hiring in downtown Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Live! Casino's hiring efforts are in full swing.

The casino is holding a job fair on Thursday, Dec. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Richmond Homewood Suites to look for prospective employees.

Job seekers will have the chance to apply and interview on the spot for a variety of positions with the temporary casino, including security ambassadors and cocktail servers, as well as roles in marketing, human resources and finance.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring their resumes.

The temporary casino is promised to create around 500 jobs, including 100 positions for both new and experienced table game dealers. As of Dec. 4, Live! Casino said it has hired 60% of the 500 employees needed.

Live! Casino is set to open its temporary gaming facility on Jan. 22, 2026.

Besides the job fair, interested applicants can also apply online or in person at the Live! Casino and Hotel Virginia recruitment center, located at 1501 W. Washington St. in Petersburg, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
