Loose pig wanted in Albemarle County, police asking for public’s help to find the animal

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A black pig seen wandering in parts of Albemarle County is wanted by officials, with police asking for the public's help to find the animal or its owner.

At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, the Albemarle County Police Department said it has received reports of a black pig in the area of Owensville and Old Ballard Roads.

According to officials, the police department's Animal Protection Unit is working to locate the animal, but it "remains at large."
