Following his two-day trial by jury, Jackson was found guilty of Robinson's murder, according to Richmond Commonwealth's Attorney Colette McEachin.

"Mr. Jonathan Jackson was convicted of murdering Mr. Vincent Robinson last year, in broad daylight, in front of City Hall at the GRTC bus stop while the General Assembly was in session across the street," she said in a March 6 statement.

Jackson will be sentenced at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 7.
