Man dead after being shot multiple times near Richmond’s Whitcomb Court area

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead after police said he was shot multiple times near Richmond's Whitcomb Court area Wednesday evening.
At 8:38 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Anniston Street for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was immediately taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries.
