Man dead after early-morning shooting in Petersburg
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead after an early-morning shooting in Petersburg on Friday.
At around 1:48 a.m. on Friday, March 13, officers with the Petersburg Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Elm Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered a home with an unlocked door. Officers found a man inside the home with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
