Man dies after being hit by vehicle on Broad Rock Boulevard in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle on Broad Rock Boulevard Sunday evening.
At 9:13 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Broad Rock Boulevard for the report of a crash.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been hit by a vehicle. He was immediately taken by ambulance to a local hospital where police said he died due to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle who reportedly hit the man stayed on scene, according to police. Officials continue to investigate.
