Man fighting for his life after being shot in the neck in Richmond’s East End

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is fighting for his life after police said he was shot in the neck in Richmond's East End Wednesday evening. At 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Redd Street near the Mosby Court neighborhood. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the neck. Police said he was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening injury. Officials continue to investigate.
