Man fighting for life after he was shot in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is fighting for his life after police said he was shot in Richmond late Saturday night.

Just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 100 block of W. Grace Street for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound.

He was immediately taken to a local hospital with a life-threatening injury, according to police.
