Man fighting for life after shooting in Richmond’s Northside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is fighting for his life after police say he was shot in Richmond’s Northside on Thursday.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1000 block of St. James Street for a report of a shooting.
According to police, a man was found inside a home with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
