Man hospitalized after being shot on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is in the hospital after police say he was shot on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond on Sunday morning.
At around 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 2700 block of Midlothian Turnpike for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
