Man hospitalized after downtown Richmond shooting
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man has been hospitalized after he was reportedly shot in downtown Richmond early Sunday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1500 block of E. Main Street for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police are still investigating what caused this incident.
