Man injured, hospitalized after shooting in Prince George apartments

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man has been injured and is being treated at a hospital after police said he was shot in Prince George County on Saturday night.

At 11:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, officers with the Prince George County Police responded to the 4200 block of Ann Terrace -- the Puddledock Apartments -- for a reported shooting.

When they arrived, officers found an unidentified man with apparent gunshot wounds.

According to officials, the man was taken by MedFlight to Chippenham Hospital in Richmond. As of the time of reporting, he was listed in "stable condition," and police said that this poses "no threat to the public."
