Man shot in ankle, injured after shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was injured after police said he was shot in the ankle on Maury Street in Richmond late Friday night.

At around 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 3400 block of Maury Street for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man had been shot in the ankle. He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
