Man shot in his leg in Richmond, police investigating
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in his leg on Friday afternoon.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, Richmond Police officers responded to the 4000 block of North Avenue for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man shot in his left leg.
According to police, the victim was taken to a local hospital with an injury not considered to be life-threatening.
Officials said Major Crimes detectives determined that the incident occurred along the 400 block of East Ladies Mile Road.
