Man shot in leg arrives at Chesterfield hospital, police investigating
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating after a man who was shot in his leg arrived at a hospital Sunday night.
At around 9:46 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, Chesterfield County Police responded to the Swift Creek Emergency Room, located at 14720 Hancock Village St., for the report of a person who had been shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
Police said the investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the area of Clarendon Park, located off Brookforest Road in Chesterfield, possibly within an hour before the victim arrived at the hospital.
According to authorities, the suspects were described as two Black male teenagers who were wearing black hoodie sweatshirts.
