Man shot multiple times, truck stolen out of Fluvanna

FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is in the hospital and the driver of his stolen truck is in custody after a Thursday afternoon shooting in Fluvanna County.
At about 4:12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, deputies with the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office responded to the 5500 block of Rolling Road South after a 911 caller said he had been shot.
When they arrived, deputies found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries was not shared by authorities.
The man told deputies that his truck was stolen during the incident.

According to authorities, officers with the Albemarle County Police Department were able to find the truck. The person driving it was arrested with the assistance of the Charlottesville Police Department.
