Man shot near Richmond’s Manchester neighborhood, police investigating

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a man was shot near the city's Manchester neighborhood Tuesday morning.
At around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, Richmond Police officers responded to the intersection of East 16th Street and Edwards Avenue for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man shot. According to police, the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
