Man stabbed in abdomen in Richmond, police investigating

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a man was stabbed in the abdomen on Friday afternoon. At around 5:26 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, Richmond Police officers responded to the 4600 block of Richmond Highway for the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with a stab wound to his abdomen. According to police, the victim was transported to a local hospital with a life-threatening injury.
