Man stabbed to death in Richmond business, police investigating

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating a deadly stabbing at a business late Thursday night.

At around 11:58 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, Richmond Police officers responded to the 3200 block of West Broad Street for the report of a person stabbed.

When officers arrived, they found a man down in the kitchen of a business who was stabbed. He died at the scene.

8News reached out to police to confirm the specific business involved in this incident. A police spokesperson provided the following statement:

"Major Crimes has confirmed that employees of Lemon Cuisine Of India are not involved in this incident."

8News followed up by asking if that meant the incident took place at Lemon Cuisine of India. We have not received a response as of the time of reporting.
