Man suffers life threatening injuries after argument leads to crash on Courthouse Road

PRINCE GEROGE, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a reported crash on Courthouse Road in Prince George County.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, at 12:06 p.m. the Prince George County Police Department and emergency responders were called to a crash on Courthouse Road.
According to an investigation by police, the incident began in a parking lot in the 6400 block of Courthouse Road where a verbal argument occurred between a husband and wife.
The husband, driver of a red 2004 Honda SUV, left the area at what police describe as "a high rate of speed" hitting a gold 2005 Honda sedan.
The driver of the Honda SUV then left the scene of the crash down courthouse Road and towards Laurel Springs Road. He then rounded a curve and lost control of the SUV, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to Police.
The man and driver of the 2004 SUV, "was partially ejected through the front windshield sustaining life-threatening injuries," according to Prince George officials.
HCA Virginia's Air Care Eagle flew the driver to Richmond's VCU Medical Center for treatment.
