Man went missing from Colonial Heights before winter storm, could be in danger
COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) -- A 34-year-old man who went missing out of Colonial Heights days before a powerful weekend winter storm is still unaccounted for a week later.
On Wednesday, Jan. 28, the Colonial Heights Police Department reshared a missing endangered person alert for 34-year-old Christopher Brown, Jr., who has not been heard from in a week.
Police were initially informed of Brown's disappearance on Saturday, Jan. 24 -- the same day a dangerous snow and ice storm hit Central Virginia. He was last seen days prior when he left a home in the 100 block of Richmond Avenue around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
His disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, police said.

Brown, pictured above, is described as a Black man with brown eyes and black dreads. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black leather jacket over a gray hoodie, gray sweatpants, gray/green tennis shoes and a red beanie.

Temperatures in the Central Virginia region have largely remained at or below freezing since the storm.
