Maymont to hold holiday wreath workshops in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Maymont will hold several workshops in Richmond during the first week of December for those interested in making a decorative wreath for the holidays. Maymont, located at 1000 Westover Road, will hold the following workshops in December for attendees to create beautiful evergreen wreaths with guidance from staff: Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own clippers, gloves and a friend to enjoy refreshments and create a festive wreath with freshly cut evergreens. According to Maymont, workshop participants must be 21 years or older with a photo ID required for alcohol. Tickets for the event are $45 for Maymont members and $60 for nonmembers.
