Missing 78-year-old man with cognitive impairment last seen in Charlottesville

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) -- A 78-year-old man with a cognitive impairment went missing out of Charlottesville on Saturday, according to police.
At about 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, the Albemarle County Police Department issued an alert for 78-year-old William McKeithan.
McKeithan is described by police as a white man, standing at about 5 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. Officials added that he has blue eyes and white hair.

He was last seen at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, on Old Lynchburg Road in Charlottesville, and is possibly driving a 2017 Black Infinite QX5 with Virginia registration TFT5575.
McKeithan has a cognitive impairment and police said the disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
