Month of lane closures coming to 18 Richmond streets
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Nearly 20 Richmond streets will see a month of daily lane closures to allow for scheduled work.
Portions of roadways in the Midlothian area of the city will see lane closures from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily starting on Monday, Sept. 22 and ending on Wednesday, Oct. 22, according to the Richmond Department of Public Works (DPW).
The following 18 roadways will be impacted:
- Red Oak Lane, between Arizona Drive and Circlewood Drive
- Green Acres Avenue, between Chuckatuck Avenue and Red Oak Lane
- Rice Road, between Green Acres Avenue ant the dead end
- Bartee Road, between Chuckatuck Avenue and the dead end
- Chuckatuck Avenue, between Old Midlothian Turnpike and the dead end
- Old Midlothian Turnpike, between Pember Lane and the dead end
- Pember Lane, between Old Midlothian Turnpike and the dead end
- Rodman Road, between Midlothian Turnpike and the dead end
- Covington Road, between Midlothian Turnpike and Old Midlothian Turnpike
- Arizona Drive, between Alberene Road and Red Oak Lane
- Woodhaven Drive, between Hull Street and Red Oak Lane
- Hull Street Service Road, between Ridgecliff Drive and Arizona Drive
- Circlewood Drive, between Hull Street Service Road and Red Oak Lane
- Alberene Road, between Warwick Road and Newkirk Drive
- Weatherford Road, between Jarvis Road and Warwick Road
- Felton Road, between Warwick Road and the dead end
- Division Street, between Midlothian Turnpike and Old Midlothian Turnpike
- Plazaview Road, between Brandon Road and Berkley Road
These closures will allow crews to pave the streets, per the department.
