Multi-vehicle crash leaves one person with life-threatening injuries in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a multi-vehicle accident in Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday, Jan. 24, Chesterfield County Police announced they are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that occurred at the 1300 block of Buford Road at about 3:15 p.m., leaving one person with life-threatening injuries.
Police said in a statement that the 2016 Honda CRV was traveling south on Buford Road when it crossed the centerline, where it then sideswiped a 2017 Honda Accord driving in the opposite direction.
This caused the 2017 Honda Accord to lose control and spin into the southbound lanes, where it came to a rest. A 2007 Ford F150 was traveling south when it hit the 2017 Honda Accord.
The driver of the 2007 Ford F150 was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatning.
