Multi-vehicle crash on I-95 results in fatality

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) drivers can expect delays today, May 4, on Interstate 95 in Richmond due to a fatal multi vehicle crash near Chamberlayne Avenue.
Virginia State police have confirmed that the crash is fatal, however have not released any further information at this time.
All south lanes are closed and according to VDOT drivers can expect to see mile long traffic.
Traffic is being detoured off of exit 82.
