Nearly 400 Dominion Energy customers were without power near Richmond’s Scott’s Addition
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Nearly 400 Dominion Energy customers located in or near Richmond's Scott's Addition neighborhood were without power on Friday.
At around 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, Dominion Energy's outage map reported that 758 customers were without power in and near Richmond's Scott's Addition neighborhood due to "emergency work."
A spokesperson for Dominion Energy said the outage was caused by an animal on the power line.
At 3:30 p.m., about 391 customers were without power in the area.
According to Dominion Energy, all power was restored in the area by 4:50 p.m. on Friday.
