Networking on the Rocks: Mocktails, vendors and more

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from two special guests on Thursday to talk about an upcoming mocktail and networking event taking place in Richmond this November.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Delaney Hall were joined by Starr Mallory Woods and Jordan Hook, founder and producer of Networking on the Rocks respectively, to discuss what people can expect.

"I wanted to bring an event to Richmond where things could happen where you could have a mocktail in your hand and you could still experience all of the network opportunities that Richmond has to offer," Woods said.

Networking on the Rocks will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The Workshop by T&D located at 1400 Mactavish Avenue.

Woods also brought examples of some of the mocktails that will be offered at the event, pouring a cranberry cosmopolitan mocktail for Hall and a key lime margarita for Childress -- all alcohol free.

People can expect to see vendors, panelists, influential leaders of Richmond and more.
