New bakery For the Love of Flour to open in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A new bakery is opening its doors on Saturday, bringing fresh-baked goods to the Richmond region.

For the Love of Flour will have its grand opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, at Stony Point Fashion Park. located at 9200 Stony Point Parkway, Suite 180 in Richmond.

According to the owner of the bakery, Jennifer McGarry, the new establishment will offer a rotating menu of small-batch baked treats, including cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls and seasonal specials, all made from scratch.

"We’re excited to be a part of the Richmond community," McGarry said. "Our goal is to create not just a bakery, but a cozy gathering place where people feel like family and every bite feels like home."

The grand opening will include complimentary samples and a first look at the bakery's summer menu, according to the bakery. Attendees will receive a discount punch card.
