New bin store selling overstocked goods opens in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new bin store has officially opened in Chesterfield County, promising unique finds at prices as low as 25 cents.

A bin store is a type of liquidation store that sells overstocked, returned or clearance items at set, bargain rates. This merchandise is contained within large bins -- hence the name for these stores -- that customers are encouraged to dig through.

One such bin store company, "Where Ya Bin," officially opened a new location in Chesterfield on Friday, June 20. It's located at 1281 Carmia Way in the North Chesterfield area.

The price per item changes daily throughout the week. Selling product this way ensures bins are as empty as possible for restock day, per the company's website.
