New date set for Kings Dominion opening weekend in 2026

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Kings Dominion announced that it has changed the date for its opening weekend.
On Wednesday, Jan. 28, Kings Dominion shared in a post that they have moved opening weekend to Saturday, March 21, 2026, instead of the previously announced March 28 weekend.
Kings Dominion is also celebrating the park’s newest and record-breaking rollercoaster, Rapterra, which was voted as the third best new theme park attraction for 2026 in USA Today.
