"My goal isn't to be the biggest shop in town," Traunero, who has worked and managed award-winning barbershops in San Diego, Calif., said. "It’s to focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere where people feel comfortable, while providing a consistent, high-quality service for every person who walks through the door."
According to a release, Traunero aimed to create a space that provides a personalized experience for community members and "bring back the personal connection that defines a true neighborhood barbershop."
Services will finish off with a hot towel and straight razor, with the shop featuring four chairs.
Traunero said he plans to bring in local barbers who are committed to similar standards of craftsmanship and reliability, per a release.
